Search Engine Optimization or “SEO” is a term I am sure you have heard of before, but what is it exactly?
Search Engine Optimization is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine’s “natural” or “organic” search results. Basically, the earlier or “higher” you appear on a search results page – such as the first page on Google – the more visitors you will receive. Theoretically, it’s a “first-listed-first-visited” scenario.
So, how do you get on the first page of Google? And more importantly, how do you get listed first on the first page?
That’s a bit more complicated and could take quite some time, but in general, it comes down to your code, and just as important, if not more important – your content.
How much does SEO cost?
I’m glad you asked…
SEO costs range quite a bit and it depends on your goals, market, reach, technologies used, such as Pay-Per-Click, Ads, Keyword Leasing, and so on… Why not check out our InfoGraphic to get a better idea of costs associated with SEO. But keep in mind: this year, AutoBlog.com has announced that the average cost of ownership for a vehicle is $8,946 per year! That’s $745.50 a month! That’s for your car! Something that is to take you from point A to point B and back. Your car has zero return. There is no ROI for most people when it comes to vehicles. That is $745.50 down the drain – every month.
Well, typically, for less money, you can invest in an actual return. Invest in your business every month for at least 3 – 6 months and actually see something from that money spent.
